Automate your Facebook Marketing and save 2+ hours each day!!

One of the hardest parts of marketing is getting the word out to our Facebook groups and friends. Depending on the number of groups you belong to, it can take long tedious hours posting to each group one at a time. Time that could be used to take care of other tasks. How would you like to take multi tasking to a new level? I want to share with you a great tool that I use that makes my daily work schedule much easier, more efficient and with a few easy steps you too can post to all your…

“LEND AN EAR”

I have always been a woman of few words, being more of a listener then a speaker.

Odd thing to say as one of the contributing here, but it is true. In real life I am very quiet, rarely sharing my opinion or thoughts except amongst family.

And over the years I have even curbed which family members I discuss what with.

I was going to say---that does not include my husband and children—but honestly it does.

I am an “editor” not only of my writing but also my words. For the…

“JUGGLING”

I am a mom, so I am a juggler. I consider myself a very adept juggler. I did not consciously become a juggler, it just evolved over time.

I don't juggle balls, or glasses, chainsaws. And I don't have large crowds cheering me because I can do this so well.

I juggle bills.

With 3 kids, I would have to take into consideration that bills, food, staples, anything that came up during the week that needed attention and throw them in the air and make them…

“KEEPING IT SIMPLE”

These days there are so many things that can pull you in so many directions. You get online and one click leads to another, then to another and then another. Until you have a window full of open windows and have forgotten where you started.

I try to keep my life as simple as possible. It is so much easier that way. Step 1, 2, 3. Instead of Step 1, offset by step 1a followed by 2b, then take a circle around back to 1c, then file 1b and proceed to 2a and overstep 2c if it is a…

“IN THE MOMENT”

It is the “thing” now to live in the moment, in the now.  It is very true that you do need to fully enjoy today, this moment, what is happening to you now.  Going back over the past will do no good, except to continually rehash a moment in time that you can never get back and redo.  It is a waste of time and energy, as no matter how badly we wish it we can not change it.  It is the past.

I would love very much to live in the “now” completely. But I find it very…

“I DIGRESS”

The beauty of conversation is that one subject generally leads to another. It is rather like a good ping pong game. Once you get the ball going it is invigorating keeping it in play. You almost want to hang onto the moment and hope it lasts for a long time.

Then there is the moments when you are with someone who is more then able to carry the…

“BOOKS”

Books.....there is just something about them that I love.  Whenever I go into a book store, whether used or new or pass a book rack, I am drawn in.

It is indeed the cover art that catches my eye first, then the title, then the synopsis is what either makes it or breaks it.

Thankfully I do not have the funds to fuel the desire or else I…

“ANGELS AMONG US”

Many a story has been written about angels. We feel their presence and heard about times when others have felt they have seen one.

When my children were little, one evening I remember seeing a lady in white floating over my child's bed.  There was also a time when I was woken to the sound of a voice telling me to “check the baby” only to find my child wrapped up in her blanket.

Coincidence.....perhaps. I prefer to think of it as an angel watching over us.…

“SISTERS”

I come from a very large family. 10 in total, 8 children, 5 of which were girls.

I am the youngest of the 5. As we were growing up, I looked at our family through my child's eyes, everything was simple, playful, happy, haunted houses in the hallway, playing in the hose outside, going to the beach and family vacations.

As I grew, it was not until the night one sister ran away that I began to see my family in a different light.

It was then that I…

“ONE TRIBE”

Recently saw a great commercial for a soda. It had a rather uplifting song about us all being “one tribe”

It is very true, we are. We are the human tribe.

I loved the movie “Independence Day” I watch it every time it is on.  I am especially moved by the scene toward the end where the president is giving the impromptu speech before taking on the attacking aliens about how we all came together, men, women, children, all nationalities from all over the world…

“ON THE OTHER FOOT”

Was talking to my daughter yesterday and our conversation reminded me of a part in the movie “Overboard”.

The main character of the story was a very rich woman, who was arrogant and rude. When she got amnesia she was taken in by a carpenter with 4 boys and made to believe that she was their mother and his wife. Living a life she had never and most likely would have never known. Once it all came out what was going on and she was back on the yacht,…

“NEVER SAY NEVER”

“Never” is a powerful word.  I found that out when I was younger.  When I used it in referring to my desire in wanting to have a broken bone.

Shortly after I did indeed “break a bone”.  Fortunately it was a small one in my hand,  It did however require surgery to put my hand back to normal function. At the time

I thought this was God's way of giving me a little thumb on the head, kind of like an “oh yeah?”.

I feel that using “never”  in that way and out loud is…

“NETWORKING”

Networking is defined as: the exchange of information or services among individuals, groups, or institutions specifically the cultivation of productive relationships for employment or business.

In this day and age it is all about networking or so they say.  For most my life I guess you could say I have been “networking”. Anytime you meet people, through work or social life, that is networking.

However I am not so good at networking in the dictionary defined sense.  I…

“CLAP YOUR HANDS IF YOU BELIEVE”

Clap your hands if you believe in fairies................. I am listening.................

The definition of fairies is an imaginary supernatural being, usually represented in diminutive human form and characterized as clever, playful and having magical powers.

I believe in fairies in all their shapes, sizes and different connotations. I have never seen a fairy but love the feeling that I get when thinking of them and looking at pictures of them.

Fairies are…

“BROTHERS”

“He ain't heavy...he's my brother”.

I have 3 brothers, two older then me and one younger. Though the younger sometimes seems older as well.

My brothers have been an interesting part of our family.  Since there was only 3 compared to the 5 of us girls we surely felt we had them outnumbered. However what they lacked in numbers they more then made up for in shenanigans.

The old adage “boys will be boys” certainly applied. They all went through the stage of setting…

“IT'S ONLY HAIR”

As sung in the musical “Hair”

“I want it long, straight, curly, fuzzy,

Snaggy, shaggy, ratty, matty

Oily, greasy, fleecy, shining

Gleaming, steaming, flaxen, waxen

Knotted, polka-dotted; Twisted, beaded, braided

Powdered, flowered, and confettied

Bangled, tangled, spangled and spaghettied!”

I would add short or even bald to the listing of wonderful things that can happen to the hair on my head.

As a woman, growing up there was many…

I am MS with MS

I am MS with MS

I was first diagnosed around 2001. At that particular time I had no feeling in the left lower fourth of my body. I did not know what it was and it was like a parlor trick for the kids.........hey look mom can put ice on her leg and she does not feel it. My doctor referred me to a neurologist. She ran some tests (the spinal tap was the worst) and found the cause. Multiple Sclerosis or MS. Trying to ever look on the bright side I said it was the perfect disease for…
